I’ve been fascinated with videogames since I was five. I grew up with Mario and Sonic, and some of my favorites are Doom and 7th Guest. My first experience with level design was creating levels for Descent and Descent 2. This is when I discovered how much I enjoyed making levels for my friends and watching them play through my creations.
I have a good deal of experience creating singleplayer and multiplayer maps for First Person Shooters, but particularly enjoy creating multiplayer maps for modes like Deathmatch and Capture the Flag. I draw inspiration for my maps from games like Half-Life, Left for Dead, Gears of War, Borderlands, Call of Duty, Duke Nuke’em, Riddick, Doom, and Halo.
In January 2007 I enrolled in the game design program at the Guildhall at SMU. The projects I worked on, the game engines I learned, and the friends I made were excellent preparation for the game industry. I’m ready to contribute to a game project on day one and hope to find a job in the game industry where I can live my dream.
